who is irène?
In her work, Irène connects visible to invisible realms, wilderness to civilisation, in order to create harmony and to re-enchant the world. She is available for individual sessions, for meditation and healing circles, for vision quests – and she constructs drums in the tradition of our ancestors that recall the divine melody of life. She also facilitates inspired writing for people interested in bridging mind, soul and spirit - and she keeps writing articles in German for magazines about spirituality and life (see page "Publikationen" in the German part of this site). In summer 2010, she moves for another cycle of life to Clevedon in North Somerset in Great Britain, where she continues her practice. Welcome!
Life puts her to the test and leads her to unexcpected and sudden experiences in subtle worlds. Guided by Spirit, she consequently commits to research and practice of sound, voice, words, the frequencies and vibrations of the human body and of the scripts of souls. Years of shaping - among others with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and with shamans, healers and scientists of different cultures – take her to the European roots of this ancient healing art: In 2007 she graduates in this world as professional Shamanic Practitioner from the Sacred Trust in England, where she also deepens her experiences on the Shamanic Way of the Bee (Path of Pollen) with Simon Buxton and Noami Lewis.
Life is her school, here and there, and she cannot cease to marvel at the infinite universe. First, during twenty years, she works as journalist for social matters and health politics in the German part of Switzerland and also teaches these disciplines. She becomes mother as well, fascinated. From 1998 on, she lives in the French speaking part of Switzerland, in the rhythm of nature.
Irène Zumsteg (1959) is considered to be a soul midwife: She facilitates transitions and changes in life with an ancestral healing art known as shamanism . She accompanies persons on pathways of beauty, towards their inner treasures and healing. .
